*sigh*
I was reading about that Dwell thing on Jean’s thing. Interesting. Lots of the designs reminded me of architectual projects built in and around Lawrence. A couple of them reminded me of the Millstein’s house. Someday I too shall have a neat-o house.

Actually it looks to be Riddick trying to be someone else. Some sort of stupid spy-guy. You can’t hide from me Riddick. I know how you hate and that you just want to be alone, or with Jack. That’s cool. I’ll pretend you were on crack when you did this movie. Just remember: FLEX.

Some things I learned over the weekend:
- Sheep are stupid
- Clam shells are dangerous
- Large ships displace lots of water
- Larger cockroaches are less scary
- Marshes are beautiful
- Palm trees are sturdy
- Life is funny

I was at this party in Savannah over the weekend. There was this guy, he totally looked like Riddick. Well, he has the same biceps. The arms were completely tattooed, fantastic. He also had an awesome tattoo on his neck. You know how I like tattoos and biceps. Flex for me Riddick. He is on the cover of Detail this month. It looks good. The article on him is iffy. I mean, almost NO mention of Riddick.

Okay. I need help. All I do at work anymore is cruise for more Riddick posters. I really dig this one. But my favorite and wish that I could buy a copy of is this one. Mmmm. If you know anyone or are someone who slightly resembles this man please contact me. In slightly resembles I mean at least have the biceps heh. Mmmm biceps.
In other news I had a Nova-mare last night. I dreamt I was back working at Nova and was late to class. Like I missed the entire thing. It was really Nova’s fault, I mean putting the classrooms in a completely seperate building what were they thinking. It was odd, since it was Hitomi, Lucia from SILS, and a combination of Miki and Keiko I was teaching. Very very odd. Thank goodness I woke up.

After reading Robin’s entry about high school people I got curious about some of ones I shared a lunchroom with. I googled several of the people I remember being obsessed with and none of the showed up. It’s amazing. I figured they would have been arrested or married or something, but nothing. They all live off the grid-meaning Google.
I cheered myself up yesterday by going to see my movie. Guess which one. Then today I purchased a poster featuring guess who. Mmmm biceps.

June 21, 2004 at 2:36 pm | In Uncategorized | Leave a CommentWhy dream of Riddick when you can dream of Eminem?
No more Law & Order before bed. I have weird dreams featuring Eminem. Luckily no trailer park girls goin round the outside though.
It bothers me when people deviate from schedule. When Maureen isn’t at the second compter from the end checking email at 8:50am I know that something is wrong. When cool tattoo guy isn’t sitting at the second computer at 10:00am I wonder why. Besides there is an order to the world and everything needs to be in its place. I’m making no sense.
I believe my lack of sense comes from this weekends road trip. I took NC 55 to Mt. Olive. I rode around. Smelled the pikcles and had breakfast at Maccers. Then I went home. Orignally I was going to go to Morehead City, but it was too far and my ass was sore. I such a loser.

I didn’t know that I was living in the ghetto. In fact I’m pretty sure I had just made a joke about not hearing guns shots. Guess I was wrong. On the bright side it was on the complete other side of the complex. Excitement I say. It’s not every day that someone dies in your neighborhood from gunshot wounds. Disappointingly, or not the police did not come by my place. You know how I love a little Law & Order action. Anyway since I apparently missed it you can get the details here. That’s where I got mine, after Jen told me about it. You know if Riddick were here he would have no put up with that kind of crap. Of course then again he shaves with a big ass knife and axel grease-the way a man should.
Note to self: pound cake does not need to be eaten by the pound.

Maybe I am a little obsessed. But hey, isn’t it better to be obsessed with a fictional person than an actual person. It’s not like I can drive by Riddick’s house every week wondering why he never called me. Nor can I fume over the lack of contact, because it’s just a character. I can comfortably watch him anytime I want, via Pitch Black. Or even go see the new movie. I think it’s healthy, for me anyway.
When it rains bartenders it pours I say. Ran into Ken yesterday. He’s doing well, being very lawyery and looking quite good with a beard. Hey, when do sideburns cease to be sideburns and start to be lambchops? Also went to The Cellar last night, of course bartender man was working and remembered me. That’s amazing. I haven’t been there since January or something. Apparently I missed Mark by a day, but I’m sure that I’ll see him again sometime anyway.
Note to self: DO NOT GET CAUGHT IN DOWNPOUR, as clothes will not dry in 8 hours unless assisted by money-taking dryers.
