Halloweens

My personal favorite holiday. There is no family required, lots of alcohol, candy, and costumes. How could it possibly go wrong. Tune in tomorrow, because I’m sure it will.

Survived Another Day Partially Hungover

Good for me!

I was even fairly efficient at work. I didn’t fall asleep at the desk like Evan did today. And I got all the folders done for Monday and Tuesday, as I had to. And…made good suggestions for my bosses speech.

Halloween is approaching and I know what I’m doing.

You might be drunk when…

  • you have trouble unlocking your door
  • you write random things on napkins
  • you have a deep conversation about classmates
  • you still wonder about the sexuality of some
  • sex is no longer important
  • you’re surprised to wake up in your own bed
  • and a little disappointed to wake up in your own bed

Sweetness

I’d been looking for the new Eminem for the last couple of days. And now, thanks to Robin, I know where it is. Word!

Green Means Go!

Another successful day.

Ultra-Fit Matt is an uncle. Again. Does this make him a super uncle? I think so.

The paper is coming along.

Halloween is nearing. I was informed that I have to make an effort on a costume. I hate that.

Looking forward to wings with Timmah! and drinks with Hottie tomorrow night.

Tonight: Jack Johnson.

Is this the Calm before the Storm?

I had a good day today.

  • I went to work.
  • I went to the Fellows Q&A.
  • I had coffee with Ms. Ali.
  • I didn’t get my loan money.
  • I wrote a cover letter.
  • I worked on the paper.
  • I went to lunch with Hottie McHothot.
  • I saw the Mathletes.
  • I went to class.
  • I bought stmaps.
  • I talked to Benn with the N and Habib.
  • I printed cover letters, resumes, and references and posted them.
  • I took pictures with my phone.
  • I worked on my paper.
  • And the Jack Johnson concert finished, so now I’m listening to it. (Almost) live from Brisbane.

Well that was fun

I got all uppity today and went to the library with the laptop. Since I was connected to UNC’s oh-so-awesome wireless I decided to continue to download some concerts. Wham! The Radiohead concert is done and so is my battery. I switch libraries. I notice that AbiWord is awfully slow. Like crazy slow. Like. T—-Y—-P—-E. I think, um…

So I run my anti-virus and all my die spyware die programs. I clean out the caches and still T—-Y—-P—–E. I switch programs to good old Word. Word says, document is corrupt. Fuck me. That’s the master’s paper that’s corrupt. I mean, I know that the very idea is evil, but corrupt. So corrupt that even Word (product of the devil) won’t open it. golly.

So I get it open in AbiWord and happily (?) retype everything I’ve done so far. In Word. Where nothing funny was going on. In doing so I did a kinda revision, but not really. I’m still about a day or so away from finishing the rough draft of the literature review, but at least I have something sorta done now.

And that Radiohead concert is so worth it. Back at Adelaide I’m continuing to download some concerts, in a mere 199 hours Dave Matthews Band will be finished and I was at that one. You remember the one with Patsy Kline. 199 hours for another Radiohead concert, you are aware that I’m a huge Radiohead fan, both in stature and in general liking. And only 13 hours for a Jack Johnson concert that took place in Australia. How could I resist?

Look if I fall asleep right now I’ll get 5 hours and 50 minutes of sweet sweet sleep. But we all know that isn’t going to happen.

So, the truth is…I don’t really want to graduate

Because if I did I would definately be working on the Master’s Paper. Which I’m not.

Nope. Not working on the paper. Instead I’ve spent over three hours playing games on the new phone. I also spoke with Ms. Andrea on her way to her new girlfriend’s, who totally sounds hot. I talked to my mum and wandered around my apartment. I even did my dishes. I thought about putting away my clothes, but nah. I have not done any master’s paper work nor regular homework for that matter.

This may be a result of my belief that I’ve lived too long and have nothing left.

Hrmph

Why is it when you want to make out with someone they don’t?

And…why is it when I get a little drunk, okay a lot, I insist on singing? I can’t bloody sing. It’s horrible. I would like to apologize to all those incents tonight. Yes I realize that it is misspelled, but I’ve had a few. Get over it.

Oh, Holy Crap Masters, that guy is HOT

We hired a new circulation student today, Ross. Ross is hot. Like super hot. Like, I think he may be in a boy band hot. He is apparently getting his PhD in something useless like comprehensive literature studies. I really don’t care what he studies. The important thing here is that you ask me how I’m getting down to the shore. Wait, this isn’t Bitch’ Camaro. The important thing here is that Ross is hot.
