New Roommate and I watched Sphere tonight. We decided that we needed one. He would manifest himself into Superman and then manifest the Swedish Bikini team. I would manifest myself into Red Raw Ninja with Riddick as a lover of course.
Then I would probably manifest Paris Hilton into her orginal face, along with Michael Jackson, you know pre-child-molestation and well, really just back to the Thriller years.

From Robin:
1. Total amount of music files on your computer?
2009 songs. Considerably less than some people, but the reality is I don’t keep music on my computer, not really anyway. I have about 39 mini-discs full of music, each of them holding about 5 hours of music. I also have 1 high-def mini disc that holds a Gig, so that’s um…a lot.
2. The last CD you bought was…
DJ Krush Milight. Why? Because I dig DJ Krush and I didn’t have this one. I like Jaku, his latest release more, but hey.
3. What was the last song you listened to before reading this message?
Honestly I have no idea, as the radio is almost always on and if not the radio then the MD is plugged in. Plus that was like 6 minutes ago. You expect me to remember what was going on 6 minutes ago? Right now Dave Matthews Band is playing, but I don’t even know the name of the song.
4. Write down five songs you often listen to or that mean a lot to you.
a. Radiohead: Street Spirit (Fade Out) this song described my state of mind for high school, more or less.
b. Prince: Darling Nikki okay, I once got in an arguement over Prince. It had to do with whether or not he was sexy, I say as a person-not really, but the music yes. This song to me is sex.
c. Everclear: Fire Maple Song, the first hit I guess. I still love this song. If it was available to do for karaoke I would sing it badly guarenteed.
d. Franz Ferdinand: 40′, it’s my favorite song off of that album.
e. The Zutons: Havana Gang Brawl, this son gets stuck in my head all the time. And thus requires me to listen to the whole album to remove it.

Shame on me. Yesterday I didn’t get dressed. I never left the house. I watched television all day. I started with cartoons, Family Guy, The Batman, and Teen Titans. I then moved on to crappy movies. You know, like Torque. Which, by the way doesn’t do much good for changing how the world sees bikers, but whatever. I then watched all the features from Dawn of the Dead that I didn’t get to see the other night. Next up, Law & Order. I had about 5 episodes DVRed. After I finished off that I watched The Goonies and then the end of Win a Date with Tad Hamilton. And that was the 13 hours that I was awake. Go figure.

This morning brings slight disappointment in myself as I didn’t go to the gym again, but I was tired dang-it. However, I am up in time to make it to work. So that’s good, as yesterday…well, not so much.

So Tim-mah showed up to Happy Hour tonight with I-an in tow. We had little to say to each other. I watched him hit on Emily for a bit while Tim-mah “distracted” me with talk of his womens. The whole thing was quite entertaining.
What else? Um…had a few with Hottie McHothot.
Saw BenG, he apparently hasn’t actually disappeared from the face of the planet, there was indeed speculation.
Might be attending a drinking fest with New Roommate and friends this weekend. We shall see.
Oh, by the way I found GOD. Just follow the sign.

I left for two days. 2. It smells like someone took a shit in my room. Now, New Roommate does have a Girlfriend and Girlfriend does have a dog that visits so there may actually be doggy shit in the room somewhere. It’s hard to say. I don’t see it, but it does smell quite bad. Where are you coming from smell? Where???

About a year or so ago they showed the first five minutes of the remade Dawn of the Dead on TNT. I watched it at Goldies with BenG and Bartender Karen. Karen started screaming something along the lines of run from Midget Bitch and Daddy. Unlock the window, jump. Go go go. It was highly entertaining.
Anyway New Roommate has it on DVD and I was a little bored, so I watched it. Awesome movie. Truly. I mean, holy cow. Written by this James Gunn, not this one. I took a class from the second one, can you guess what it was?

Robin recently did a post about family history. It got me thinking about my own. My dad has a white book in the basement that chronicles our family history, at least our line of it. I know that two brothers came over on a ship in 1752. I know that they lived in Pennsylvannia then moved to Ohio, then Kansas. Part of the family continued to move west. You can see it here. The story and the coat of arms are here, of course it’s spelled differently, but it is the same family. At least that’s 1/4 of me.
There’s another 1/4 that is Swedish. Hans Anderson came to America and to Kansas. He changed his name to Moline because there was already a Hans Anderson in town. Oh, the irony. He was my great-grandfather.
I still have a full half of my heritage. It is mostly unknown. British, Irish, Scottish, we don’t know. My uncle has been looking into it. On St. Patrick’s Day I say I’m Irish. The rest of the time I claim English, better to be a conquerer than the down-trodden. Don’t you think?
